Greetings,It is I, Kevin...again. So, remember that last play I did? Y'know, the one I promoted just a little bit earlier this year, A Prayer For My Daughter?
Well, it lead to this play I am now doing.
The play is NEW YORK ANIMALS by Steven Sater. It is a world premiere. Which is way cool!
Steven is one of America's foremost playwrights...he won a boatload of Tonys, Oliviers, Grammys...you name it... for writing the book and lyrics for the hit musical, SPRING AWAKENING, a few years ago. He has been in residence and it has been exciting to be creating a play and role(s) for the very first time anywhere, ever! FYI, this one is not a musical.
It is produced by Rogue Machine which one of LA's most vibrant theater companies. The award winning Rogue Machine is known for sheparding new plays.
NEW YORK ANIMALS is...
..."delightful, funny and thought provoking piece of theatre being brilliantly realized by four wonderful actors - Caroline Aaron, Kevin Brief, Burl Moseley and Jennifer Pollono". It is directed by Rogue Machine Artistic Director, John Flynn.
